Canada Day 2010

Hey everyone!

I got some pictures that I took during Canada Day! And I have something special to show you all at the end of this post — can anyone guess? :P

Well, first of all, here are the pictures:

These two were from Robson Street.

I took this in Robson Street! It is sooo crowded! It actually has one of the best bubble tea places — but I forgot where >//< I was looking for it ’till I got lost somewhere…

Told ya I got lost! Since I couldn’t find the bubble tea I wanted, I got a blueberry cream cake ♥ What do you think, doesn’t it look good? If you’re a cake lover, we should hang out one day and go for a cake-hunting ^^

Okayy, now I’m off to Canada Place :D I was actually  planning to spend the whole day in Robson Street… but I don’t know why I keep on getting lost!!! >//< so yea… ~_~ but, hey, I’m actually soooooo glad that I went to Canada Place! It was reallllyyyy cool and I actually made some new friends on the spot :)

Well, I think on this same day, Canadian navy was being celebrated as well. It was so cool! You can actually get on it :D Saw the kids doing it earlier, but I forgot to take a shot of them =_=

Inside, (I forgot the name :P) but I went inside this building, there were so many things! There was a singer as well, and also other “activities” for kids…such as — this!

Canada Place is also a great sight-seeing place! Here are some pictures:

Well, something special that I’m gonna show you all is….fireworks!

I waited until night to watch it! I stood for two hours to reserve the best spot! and it was soooo cold, cuz it’s near the harbour and i didn’t wear enough layer to keep me warm :(

Queen Elizabeth Park

It is one of the most beautiful parks I’ve ever seen! It’s heavenly!

Breathtaking, isn’t it?

It has one of the highest points in Vancouver! So you can look down and see the city :D

I went there last week, but they said it would be so much prettier during the spring and fall season <3

It’s a perfect place to enjoy a good book, to have a picnic or even to just take a walk.

Vancover Airport

On Thursday afternoon I went to the airport to send off my friend~ so here are some pictures of the airport – I like it a lot ♥

At the center, there is a reallllyyy big statue, it’s kinda cool – just because it’s really big o_O

I sure saw someone tried to climb :P

Overall, it was such a nice summer day ♥

2010 SPRING

Few weeks ago, I went out for a jog at 7am and took some pictures of the cherry blossoms. It is so beautiful~

isn’t it beautiful? what’d you think? :)

if it’s not for this kind of scenery, i doubt i would be able to jog for long :P

I felt tired and needed to sit on the grass…and this is what I saw. Breathtaking, isn’t it? ~ sun rise ♥

…and on the way back I took this picture. One of my fav…isn’t it captivating?

Yayy! It’s a day out with my girl friends ♥

At first, we were going out to look for some skincare products~ I was thinking of buying Kiss My Face products since it’s a safe one; but I couldn’t find the face cream that I wanted ><

On the way, I took some pics:

…see the mountain over there? nice view, isn’t it? :) we actually got lost…no, we got lost because my sense of direction is still sucks ><

…there. I was trying to zoom it in, but I didn’t realized that there was someone in front of me :P hahhaa

…we’re in a small park. I don’t know the name >< since I got lost (twice) I wasn’t planning to go to this place, so I don’t remember the name :P

but it’s a beautiful place, isn’t it?

this is in City Square Mall, Vancouver. It is an interesting place: the structure and the way the shopping places are grouped and placed~ love it! oh, and there’s a nice cream puff there as well ^^

After that, we went to Robson Street, still trying to find the skincare products that we needed. I actually found a pretty good one, but I haven’t checked whether it is safe or not – but it is paraben free. If it turned out to be safe and effective, I’ll write a post about it :) I’m trying the sample right now.

So, in Robson we went to this restaurant, I think it’s A Cafe. I tried to link it, but couldn’t find any site. It’s an asian restaurant, really good and good service as well. The place is really clean (including the bathroom).

Actually, today’s my friends birthday, gonna post her pic~

looks good isn’t it? (I haven’t tried it though, but my friend said it was delicious :P)

yumm~ bubble tea <3 One of my favs. This place gave A LOT of pearls, I was suprised. See the pearls in the straw? I could get 3 to 4 pearls in one straw – made me so full >< but it was soooo good! loving the choco taro combination. If you haven’t tried it, you should!

Washroom :P …was so bored waiting on the line, so I took some pics hahhaa… look at that many stuffs i was holding! j/k it’s actually not that many, I just happened to take some out from my purse

After that, we went to a parfait bar

You gotta check this out; it’s one of the best dessert places ^^ they have foods other than desserts though (and my other girl friends were waiting here already)

[Pic of the Day] ♥

Today, I went with my friend to Downtown Vancouver.

We were shopping in Robson Street.

It was so fun! Lots of shopping places, restaurants, cute cupcakes, cute chocolate factory, crepes, the body shop, lush, etc.

Ohhh…I wish I took some pictures from Robson Street… but I couldn’t…it was so hard for me to take picture ‘cuz I was…

(I was doing some fundraising at school) so yea, I brought that big box with me: shopping while selling chocolate- how does it sound? :-P  well, to be honest, it was actually pretty fun^^

Anyway, Robson Street is one of the tourist places in Vancouver – anyone coming to Vancouver should definitely visit Robson Street; especially if you love shopping :)

Fall <3

Remember, I mentioned before that I love Fall season the most?

I have the pictures ready for my blog!

Unfortunately, this year’s Fall season is not as beautiful as last year’s (2008)

I remember that it was so beautiful ’till I got lost :-P (yes, I really did got lost)

That time, I kept on walking and felt as if I were in a different place ♥

what I love the most is the pinkish red leaves on the tree – this, we don’t have it for so long this year, so I don’t get the chance to take it :(

Though it’s not as beautiful as last year, this year is also beautiful  ;)

Anyway, since I took these pictures myself, these don’t look very professional…but I think you can still see the beauty during this season.

Graduation pictures

Today I took my two last exams at school and went to North Vancouver for my graduation picture.
